Parent Involvement
Anoka-Hennepin Parent Involvement promotes partnerships, based on the belief that parents are their children's most important teacher. We offer a wide variety of resources to meet the changing needs and interests of parents and families. Program activities encourage:- Family members as involved educators of their children.
- School staff as they partner with families to assist students.
- Community members as they collaborate with families and staff to improve education for all students.

Parenting Classes and Support

Parent Resource Center
The Parent Resource Center is located at the Anoka-Hennepin Schools Educational Service Center and lends library materials to parents, families, and staff in the community. Choose from over 1,000 books, CDs, or DVDs to enhance your parenting skills. Topics include parenting, special needs, homework, early childhood education, and much more.
Families are welcome to browse our library online, stop in, or call.

No password is required.Stop-in: Use the self-service check-out and return to borrow materials. Enter Door 1 on the west side of the Educational Service Center, located at 2727 N. Ferry St., Anoka, MN 55303.
Phone: Call 763-506-1587 to discuss your resource requests. Selections can be delivered to your school and then sent home with your child.

PTOs, Booster Clubs and Nonprofits
Anoka-Hennepin Parent Involvement provides helpful resources to parent-teacher organizations (PTOs), advisory councils, partnership teams, booster clubs and other nonprofit organizations that support students.
Resources include:- Workshops & Special Events - are offered on a periodic basis. Visit the PTO and booster club workshop page to register for free trainings.
