    Parent Involvement logoParent/teacher organizations and booster clubs help support the efforts of the Anoka-Hennepin students, schools and the community. The workshops listed below are offered to provide tips, promote best practices and clarify procedures and processes for them. We are very thankful for the support and positive contributions parent/teacher groups and booster clubs provide. 

    Starting the year/season off right
    In this informal (community meeting) session, learn tools and receive takeaways to be successful this year. The topics of the session will include the importance of meeting agendas, minutes, working as a team and much more! Time for meeting board members and asking questions will also be available.

    Financial best practices
    Learn tips, tricks and discussion to answer many of your most common financial questions; who and how many signers on the bank account & debit card, best practice for reimbursement, transparency of budgets and balances, handling coach/principal requests, what is a 291 account? to name a few. Time for meeting board members and asking questions will also be available.

    Volunteer recruitment/board transition 
    Recruiting volunteers and transitioning your board to new members can feel impossible. Join us for proven approaches to define membership, organize and recruit volunteers and board members. Time for meeting board members and asking questions will also be available.

Learn suggestions for bank and email transition, reconciling bank accounts, and much more! A check list of the organization's annual paperwork will also be included. Time for meeting board members and asking questions will also be available.
