It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year

(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Parent Education Series: District to host three Parent Engage 360 events in 2023-24

Dayton student transportation to remain as is for 2023-24, additional review necessary

(07/14/2023) The Anoka-Hennepin School Board approved a recommendation to maintain current student transportation services for the Dayton Elementary attendance area at their July 10 meeting.

(09/24/2024) The process to determine a solution to address a $21 million budget reduction gap facing Anoka-Hennepin Schools took an important step forward with a draft recommendations presented at the Monday, Sept. 23 Anoka-Hennepin School Board Meeting.

Dayton Elementary students brighten city streets with artwork

(09/20/2024) Last spring, students at Dayton Elementary School were invited to participate in an art project in collaboration with the City of Dayton. Fifth grade worked on redesigning banners displayed on street light posts on Balsam Lane connecting S Diamond Lake Road and River Road.
