Nebula, a school-within-a-school program
A new elementary Talent Development program called Nebula, a school-within-a-school program for gifted students, began at Eisenhower Elementary School in the fall of 2019. The program is for third through fifth grade students performing in the top 1-2 percentile across multiple measures (CogAT, MAP, and MCA) in comparison to their peers.
Just like a Nebula connects items from across an expansive area in space, the Nebula program brings students from around the district together to develop and learn.
Parents/guardians of Anoka-Hennepin students meeting this criteria were directly contacted in mid December to inform them of this programming option for the 2022-23 school year. If your student did not meet the criteria, and you wish to provide additional information and data for consideration, you may complete the application between Jan. 17 and Feb. 18 of 2022.
