SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

Apply for educational benefits for the 2025-26 school year
(07/30/2025) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for educational benefits for the 2025-26 school year. A new application must be submitted each year. The enrollment period for the 2025-26 school year begins on August 1, 2025.

Graduate Spotlight: Blaine High School graduate’s inspiring path to leadership
(07/15/2025) Bethany Brunsell, a 1994 graduate of Blaine High School (BHS), was named the first female fire chief for the City of Golden Valley in March 2024, becoming one of just three female fire chiefs in the state.

Andover and Champlin Park high school seniors named College-sponsored National Merit Scholarship winners
(07/15/2025) Andover High School (AndHS) graduate Jaxon Knutson and Champlin Park High School - International Baccalaureate Programme (CPHS) graduate Noah Johnson have earned College-sponsored National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®) announced July 14.
