SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

District marching band showcase set for Saturday, Aug. 23
(08/20/2025) High School marching bands from across the district will convene in the Coon Rapids High School stadium to compare notes and performances at the Anoka-Hennepin Marching Band Showcase.

Approved: Curriculum and materials decisions set for 2025-26 school year
(08/06/2025) The School Board recently approved a $4.5 million investment in elementary literacy instruction following a multi-year review process that included significant public and teacher participation and feedback.

Dr. Lewis Finch, longest-serving Anoka-Hennepin Superintendent, has passed away
(08/06/2025) Finch served as superintendent from 1975 to 1990, a time of community and enrollment growth which included the highest enrollment in District history with over 40,000 students in the Anoka-Hennepin School District.
