It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Review and provide input on the future of elementary English Language Arts curriculum materials
(09/20/2024) As the district reviews and adopts new course materials, it involves staff, students, parents, and the community in the process. Families and community members can attend a curriculum review night Oct. 23.

Dayton Elementary students brighten city streets with artwork
(09/20/2024) Last spring, students at Dayton Elementary School were invited to participate in an art project in collaboration with the City of Dayton. Fifth grade worked on redesigning banners displayed on street light posts on Balsam Lane connecting S Diamond Lake Road and River Road.

(09/19/2024) Anoka-Hennepin is seeking community members to join the district’s Community Curriculum Advisory Committee (CCAC). The committee will be composed of parents/guardians of elementary, middle and high school students representing each high school attendance area in the district.

(09/19/2024) The Anoka-Hennepin School Board will convene for its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 at the Sandburg Education Center, located at 1902 Second Avenue in Anoka.
