Anoka-Hennepin Compass Programs

Welcome to my classroom website!

       I am so happy to be part of the amazing Compass teaching team, striving to push students toward success! This is my eleventh year teaching in Anoka-Hennepin and fifth year at Compass. I currently teach seventh grade English Language Arts (ELA) and Essential Reading. I also support students with special education needs within various classes. I earned my Associates of Arts Degree from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, my undergraduate degree from Augsburg College and my graduate degree from St. Mary's University. 

       When I am not working, my time is spent with my husband and two young sons. We enjoy outside activities, playing, watching movies, and cooking together. My personal hobbies include reading, sewing, yoga and running.
