Anoka-Hennepin summer hiring event attracts hundreds of job seekers
(07/26/19) Anoka-Hennepin employee services held its annual summer hiring event on July 23 at the Educational Service Center (ESC) and the evening was deemed a success. Over 225 job seekers attended the event, which offered information on full-time, part-time and substitute positions available in the district.
“It was great to see so many job seekers excited about the employment opportunities that we offer,” said Julie Phillips, recruitment and retention specialist for Anoka-Hennepin. “Our hiring managers were very happy with the number of attendees, the skill sets they had, and the excitement and desire to work for our district.”
Representatives were present from child nutrition, buildings and grounds, special education, educational paraprofessional, transportation, community education, preschool and early childhood family education, and technology.
Employee services was also available to answer questions and provide information about working for the district.
