Summer school details

(06/16/20) This summer will be a bit different from other years while staff navigate a safe and responsible way to offer in-school services at Anoka-Hennepin Regional High School to those who need them.

As always, the summer offers some high school students the chance to catch up on credit, continue to make up credit, or earn that final credit for graduation. During this period of social distancing due to COVID-19, Anoka-Hennepin will offer summer school through distance learning programming, but with optional office hours to give some students the “in-person” support they may need to be successful.

Summer school for high school students will be for credit recovery on the following dates: Monday, June 22, through Friday, July 17, (Monday through Friday weekly schedule), 8 a.m. through 1 p.m., with a July 3rd holiday. All students must be referred by their home high schools and submit a referral form to be enrolled in credit recovery summer school.

In addtion, beginning July 6 through July 17, for high school students:

  • Optional in-person office hours for classes (with social distancing) at Regional High School.
    • Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Monday and Wednesday — English and social studies; Tuesday and Thursday: math, science, Apex, and health). For those students who wish to visit Anoka-Hennepin Regional High School for office hours, social distancing must be practiced at all times to insure the safety of all students and staff.
  • Bussing available if registration is complete by the deadline of May 22, 2020.
  • Brunch Served at 9:30 a.m. in the classroom.

Our summer school staff look forward to working with you and your student(s) over the next four weeks. If you have questions, please call 763-506-7400.
