At TPP, it's one of our goals to help students achieve success and attending school daily is part of that plan. Scheduling appointments for your child and yourself outside of school hours will help you meet that goal. However, if you are going to be absent for any reason, there are some calls you need to make to take care of your absence responsibility.

TPP
Call the Compass Programs attendance line at 763-506-3207 to report your absence so that we can mark your attendance accordingly. A note or letter may be required upon your return to school.

Transportation
Call your transportation company one hour prior to your morning pick up time to cancel your ride. If you miss three consecutive times without reporting your absence, you may be dropped from the route. Please be courteous to transportation staff and your fellow riders and report your absences.

CAPE Child Care Center
If your child will be absent (or late) from daycare for any reason, you must also notify the CAPE Child Care Center at 763-433-4770. It's good practice to communicate with your child's care provider. Staffing is based on attendance and staff may be sent home early if they don't know you're coming later, resulting in you not having childcare for the day.
