• Our history

In 1965, Roosevelt opened as a junior high school serving students in grades seven, eight and nine. As a part of school district reorganization in 1992, Roosevelt became a middle school serving grades six, seven and eight.

This year, Roosevelt (RMS) has 70+ teachers, counselors, special service staff, and principals; and 42 cooks, custodians, secretaries, and paraprofessionals serving 1,300+ students. These students live in the communities of Blaine, Ham Lake, Andover and Coon Rapids. Most of our students will attend Blaine High School when they enter ninth grade.
