It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

(05/02/2024) After being inspired to come up with a passion project by her talent development teacher Janeen Burow, Morris Bye Elementary fourth grader Leah Doyle thought big and made a major impact. Doyle created a plan for a schoolwide event at Feed My Starving Children.

School Board to consider $21 million budget reduction at Nov. 25 meeting
(11/06/2024) The School Board is expected to approve a budget reduction and reallocation plan for 2025-26 at the Nov. 25 meeting. At the Nov. 4 work session, the School Board did begin discussion on possible options.

District seeking feedback on Wellness Policy
(11/05/2024) Every three years, the Anoka-Hennepin School District and its Health, Wellness and Safety Committee conduct a review of Wellness Policy 533.5. The review of the Wellness Policy is required by law and is done to help maintain compliance, assess progress and determine areas in need of improvement.

Learn how to earn college credit in high school
(11/05/2024) The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) is hosting a virtual informational session on Earning College Credit in High School on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. The virtual meeting will be held on Zoom and will share information about opportunities for students to participate in Advanced Placement (AP, International Baccalaureate (IB), Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) and College in the Schools as high school students.
