SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Middle school programming is under review, your feedback needed
(05/10/2024) The District is conducting a review of middle school programming this spring and summer, a process last undertaken when the district shifted from a semester-model to a trimester-model at the middle school level in 2009.

(07/30/2025) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for educational benefits for the 2025-26 school year. A new application must be submitted each year. The enrollment period for the 2025-26 school year begins on August 1, 2025.

Anoka-Hennepin School Board seats up for election, filing period opens July 29
(07/14/2025) Three seats will be up for election November 4 – districts three, four and six. Community members living within those districts who are interested in serving on the board must file for election between July 29 and August 12 by 5 p.m. Members serve four-year terms.

Middle school students get a lesson in financial literacy in Mad City Money simulation
(07/02/2025) Each year, Anoka-Hennepin’s Compass Program hosts a financial literacy simulation where students gain hands-on experience learning about personal finance management.
