Thanks for checking out my website.  This is my 7th year teaching 8th grade science at OVMS, and my 15th year in the district.  I graduated from Hastings High School, then moved on to MSU @ Mankato where I got my degree in earth science education, after teaching for a few years I obtained my Masters degree from St. Marys University in teaching and learning. 

 

I am an outdoor enthusiast that can not get enough of the outdoors.  It is a place that helps me relax and unwind.  It could be fishing, hunting, boating, or just a hike in the woods.  It is hard to not be in awe of what mother nature has to offer if you take the time to truly enjoy it.  

 

Physical activity is another passion of mine.  A healthy body and mind are very important to me.  Staying active helps to keep my classroom upbeat and high energy to keep the kids interest.
