Families invited to Saddle Up for Success event on Thursday, Sept. 18
(09/04/2025) Madison Elementary community, you're invited to our Saddle Up for Success family event on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5-7 p.m. Enjoy Toppers pizza in the cafeteria, play on the inflatable obstacle course, visit your child's classroom. This is a FREE event for our families, and we hope to see you all there.

SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

Madison students access bike safety resources, thanks to AHEF grant
(05/02/2025) Madison Elementary School students are equipped for rolling to school and around the neighborhood, thanks to bike safety gear and tips shared by community partners - made possible thanks to a grant from the Anoka Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF).

The Monster Mash: Elementary and middle school students in Anoka partner to bring stories, designs to life
(10/31/2025) Anoka welcomed new mini-monsters to the community just in time for Halloween. Middle school students delivered a treat designed by elementary schools inspired by a story they read earlier this month.

Students participate in tradition of Anoka Halloween, represent schools and marching bands
(10/27/2025) Anoka is known as the “Halloween Capital of the World,” and on the afternoon of Oct. 24, students and staff representing Anoka-Hennepin schools walked down the city's Main Street at the Big Parade of Little People.
