Jackson Middle School students take first and second place at math contest

Andrew Coan and Patrick Navratil(05/21/2024) Jackson Middle School (JMS) seventh-grade students Andrew Coan and Patrick Navratil took the top two places in the seventh grade division and they also led the JMS team to capture first place in the St. Cloud State Mathematics Contest held April 11. Sydney Hagel is the third member of the JMS team.

The St. Cloud State Mathematics Competition hosted 33 schools with 912 participants from across Minnesota and Wisconsin in grades 7-12. Students from Anoka-Hennepin Schools who participated and finished in either the top five percent or top ten percent are listed below and were recognized at the May 6 Anoka-Hennepin School Board meeting.
