MISSION: GAIN ACCESS TO PLACES (CHOOSE ONLY ONE)
Required condition: Your vehicle needs to be in one of these positions exactly as the match ends (this mission does not affect others)
- TARGET SPOT - Required condition: Robot is parked with its drive wheels or treads touching the round target.
Value = 25 points- YELLOW BRIDGE DECK - Required condition: Robot is parked with its drive wheels or treads touching your yellow decking, but no part of your robot touching any red decking or the mat.
Value = 20 points- VEHICLE SHARING - Required condition: Robot is parked with its drive wheels or treads touching your red bridge decking, but no part of the robot touching the mat.
Value = 25 points
MISSION: GAIN ACCESS TO THINGS ...
- ACCESS MARKERS - Required condition: Access marker must be in the "down" position.
Value = 25 points each (max 100 points)
MISSION: GAIN ACCESS TO THINGS ...
- LOOPS - Required condition: Loop needs to be completely in "Safety"
Value = 10 points each
- BONUS: New technologies can sometimes eliminate your need to travel. They are hard to develop, but each new one makes the next come easier...
* If all three (3) gray Loops have made it completely into "Safety" completely, you may take one (1) red Loop into "Safety" by hand.
* If all three (3) red Loops have made it completely into "Safety" completely, you may take one (1) Loop of any color into "Safety" by hand.
* Once earned, these hand freedoms to retrieve a bonus Loop (which are an exception to the rules) may be used any time before the match ends.
MISSION: AVOID IMPACTS ...
- WARNING BEACONS - Required condition: Warning Beacon needs to be in "upright" position (square to the mat).
Value = 10 points each (max 80 points)
- INTERRUPTION PENALTY - The Warning Beacons are the "Interruption Penalty" objects for the Smart Move Robot Game. This means that each time your vehicle (robot) is touched while it is completely out of "Base", the referee will remove one (1) upright Warning Beacon. The upright Warning Beacons are removed in order from south to north, and then from west to east. If there are no upright Warning Beacons remaining on the playing field at the time of the touch penalty, there is no additional penalty given.
MISSION: AVOID IMPACTS ... (CHOOSE ONLY ONE)
- SENSOR WALLS (AVOIDANCE OPTION) - Required condition: Sensor Walls need to be upright (square to the mat). Any four (4) Sensor Walls count towards the score, but only to a maximum of 4 upright Sensor Walls. Each upright Sensor Wall also requires a "down" Access Marker". Example: If there are 4 upright Sensor Walls and 3 Access Markers down, only 3 of the Sensor Walls count for the Sensor Wall score)
Value = 10 points each (max 40 points)
- SENSOR WALLS (IMPACT OPTION) - Required condition: None (zero) of the Sensor Walls are upright (square to the mat).
Value = 40 points
MISSION: SURVIVE IMPACTS ...
- VEHICLE IMPACT TEST - Required condition: The truck needs to no longer touch the ramp's red stopper beam. Your entire vehicle (robot) needs to be completely out of "Base" when it produces the required condition, otherwise the referee removes 2 upright Warning Beacons (in the same manner as two Interruption Penalties).
Value = 20 points
MISSION: SURVIVE IMPACTS ...
- SINGLE PASSENGER RESTRAINT TEST - Required condition: The Crash-Test Figure needs to be onboard your vehicle (robot) for the entire match. The first time your vehicle (robot) is without the Crash-Test Figure, the referee will remove the Crash-Test Figure, and the team will lose these points. Any constraint system is okay as long as the Crash-Test Figure can be separated quickly after the match without disassembling the Crash-Test Figure.
Value = 15 points
MISSION: SURVIVE IMPACTS ...
- MULTIPLE PASSENGER SAFETY TEST - Required condition: All four (4) people are sitting or standing in or on a transport device of your own design, and some portion of that object is in the round target area. (the scoring transportation device will not count as a "Junk Penalty" at the end of the match).
Value = 10 points
NOTICE: Please make sure you & your team read and understand all of the Robot Rules to make sure your robot earns the points legally. Maximum possible score = 400 points
