    My name is Bob Sand, and the 2019-20 school year is my 26th year of teaching.  I have been teaching at the Anoka Technical College campus since the fall of 2000.  In addition to teaching, I am an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector which is a credential that allows me to certify welders as they come through the program.  Welding students do have the opportunity to earn certifications if they have the skill level needed to pass the test!  
     
    Our classes are held in the ATC welding shop which has the ability to service up to 65 students at a time.  The training you will receive is technical college style work on a variety of materials, processes and positions.
