Adults
Anoka-Hennepin Community Education offers hundreds of classes year-round during the daytime, evening and weekend for adults ages 18 and up. Subscribe for updates about all adult learning classes, or select only your favorite interest areas.
Aquatics
Community Education offers a wide range of aquatic opportunities for community organizations and members of all ages, including swimming lessons, water exercise, competitive swim training, American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid certification courses, and recreational open swim opportunities at Roosevelt Community Pool in Blaine. Families with school-age childrenEach Anoka-Hennepin elementary and middle school sends monthly email updates, highlighting upcoming classes and activities held before- and after-school. You can also subscribe to receive updates about non-school day field trips, unique camps, classes and activities offered after-school, on the weekend, in the evening, or over the summer months.
Families with children ages birth to five
Our Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and Preschool staff sends emails to families about opportunities to join classes and activities, preschool information and parent tips and ideas around child development, temperament and guidance. Subscribe now.
Community Schools coordinates athletic, recreational, enrichment and arts activities for preschool-aged children at schools across the district, year-round. Classes and activities are designed to encourage participation and independence; although parent/child opportunities are also offered when a child may need additional assistance participating or completing a project.
