I love spending time with my wife, my three kids, and my two dogs! I have coached track, cross-country, soccer, and chess teams in the past.

 

 

Travel   

Our family has a tradition of traveling together and we love to camp.  Some of our vacations include an Alaskan Cruise, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, The Grand Canyon, Upper Peninsula Michigan, The Black Hills, Mesa Verde National Park, Olympic National Park, a tour of northern Minnesota, and a trip to Texas.

 

Two of my children play soccer and I have enjoyed coaching soccer for six years.  I have had experience coaching U11-13 C2, U10 Maroon, U9 Gold, and U8 Rec+ teams.

 

I enjoy the game of chess and have coached various chess teams for the past 15 years. I am the Andover High School Chess Team Advisor.  If you enjoy the game of chess or have any interest in learning how to play chess, please feel free to talk to me!

 

Volunteering is common for me as I feel it is very important to help others.  I have spent many hours as a soccer coach, in the chess community, at Feed My Starving Children, with Habitat for Humanity, at various school events, with a Greyhound Rescue Group, at the Salvation Army, at various youth events, and also with my home church.
