• Husky House

Andover High School offers an after-school tutoring and study center program called Husky House to help your student succeed. Assistance is available four days a week, most weeks. Please encourage your child to check us out!

     Who:
All Andover High School students are invited to participate.

    What:
Husky House is a teacher- and staff-led program designed to provide tutoring and additional study time in a variety of areas. Math and English teachers (focusing on both reading and writing skills) are available each day. Tutors in various other subject areas are also available (varies each day).

    Where:
Andover High School's library media center.

    When:
Monday through Thursday from 2:40 to 5:00 p.m., or until all academic work has been completed, whichever occurs first. Husky House is closed on days with scheduled staff meetings and conferences and may also be closed on days prior to holiday breaks.

    How:
There is no need for students to sign up in advance. Students should simply report to Husky House by 2:40 p.m. on the day(s) they wish to attend. If students come in after 2:40 p.m., they need a pass from the teacher or coach with whom they were working.

    Other information
Students may sign out if they wish to leave prior to 5 p.m., but they must leave school grounds at that time.

Activity bus transportation is available at 5:05 p.m.

This is a school-regulated event. All school rules and expectations are enforced. Students will be asked to leave if they are disruptive and/or uncooperative.
