• Welcome to AP US History and US History! This is my 18th year teaching at Andover. I've taught at Andover since the building opened in 2002. I grew up in Anoka and graduated from Anoka Senior High in 1988. I went on to Carleton College and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 1992. I was a White House intern for President George H.W. Bush during the first Gulf War. After college, I worked in London and then moved to Minneapolis. I worked in county government and in advertising before going to graduate school at the University of St. Thomas for an M.A. in Teaching, graduating in 2000. I live in Minneapolis with my husband and miniature schnauzer, and my son is a sophomore at Tulane University in New Orleans.
