Get paid to swim! Anoka-Hennepin Community Education coordinates swimming lessons, recreational open swim, water exercise programs for adults, competitive swim training, American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid certification courses, and recreational open swim opportunities at Roosevelt Community Pool in Blaine. We are always looking for candidates to "dive" into a variety of positions supporting our pools and the water safety programs that we offer.

These jobs and career pathways are often appealing to high school and college students looking for extra cash or considering a career in teaching, current school staff looking to pick up extra hours or retirees interested in a job that makes a positive impact in our community and in people's lives.

Many positions require American Red Cross certifications in lifeguard training, water safety instruction, CPR or First Aid. Not certified but still interested? Anoka-Hennepin Community Education offers aquatic certification opportunities year-round, and may offer training assistance to candidates upon a job offer.
