Three Anoka-Hennepin Schools recognized for youth service by the WE organization
(5/20/20) The WE organization hosted a LIVE #WEcelebrate Minnesota event, Wednesday, May 19, recognizing youth service work done by students across the state of Minnesota this school year. Watch the playback on Facebook to hear the youth service clubs from Northdale Middle School, Andover High School and Champlin Park High School receive recognition for their service campaign work. The schools also received a "shout-out" from actresses Skai Jackson and Navia Robinson; and our own Superintendent of Schools, David Law!
This year, 5,603 students gave 84,627 hours of service to local and global service projects through youth service programs, coordinated by Anoka-Hennepin Community Education at all high schools. A Youth Service Coordinator at each high school coordinates meaningful leadership and service opportunities, trips and projects benefiting the community.
