Anoka-Hennepin Community Education will offer after-school and evening activities at your child's school!

(9/3/20) Anoka-Hennepin Community Education is ready to safety welcome participants back this fall! Programs will operate in alignment with Anoka-Hennepin Schools health and safety protocols. Learn more by reviewing FAQs regarding community education youth activities and classes on the Anoka-Hennepin Schools Return to School website.

 

Families may register online, using the new Anoka-Hennepin Community Education registration system, beginning September 21. Visit ahschools.us/CEregister for details and to view all class and activity offerings by school at ahschools.us/CEregister. A variety of activties and classes will be offered from Community Schools, ranging from:

  • Music, language and safety
  • Recreation, games and fitness
  • Science and technology
  • Arts, crafts
  • Middle school sports

Students are encouraged to enroll in programs at their school with their cohort on their assigned in-person learning days. Aquatic programs and swimming lessons will be offered at Roosevelt Community Pool in Blaine.

 

Middle school athletics

Middle school activity busses will be available. If families of middle school students would like to utilize transportation home from after-school activities or middle school athletics, the need for transportation must be indicated at the time of registration. Activity busses are available at no additional cost. Busses depart from middle schools at or after 5:15 p.m. and stops are assigned upon closure of activity registration. Transportation routes will be revised each trimester to align with new activity registrations.
