Professional development opportunities for teachers

front of development flyer(3/15/23) Renew your teaching license! The Anoka-Hennepin Community Education Adult Learning program offers ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers to meet mandatory state license renewal requirements.

Classes are offered in late April 2023. View current opportunities online.

Classes include:

  • Critical reading across the content areas
  • Suicide prevention
  • Early warning signs of mental illness
  • Success for English Language Learners in the mainstream classroom
  • Addressing learner variability in the classroom

All classes are held at the Staff Development Center - 2727 N Ferry St. in Anoka. Registration closes at noon on the day class is scheduled or until it fills. Classes will be cancelled if the minimum registration of 10 participants is not met. Register online or call the Adult Learning office at 763-506-5766 (Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m).

Anoka-Hennepin Community Education offers additional CEU opportunities for teachers through our online partner, Ed2Go.
