Andover High School

I am excited to be starting my fifth year at Andover and my twelfth year teaching high school science. My first teaching job was in Brainerd, MN, where I graduated from high school. I taught biology and physical science at Brainerd High School for two years. From there I moved to Sauk Rapids and taught biology and human biology at Foley High School for five years. My passion is biology so I am excited to be teaching biology and AP biology this year here at Andover High School.

 

I was born and raised in Brainerd, MN. I attended Bemidji State University where I earned my degree in science education with a specialty in life science. I graduated with my masters in education from Saint Mary's University. I am a life-long learner and love to explore the world of science!

 

Currently, I live in Oak Grove with my husband, our two year old son, and our two yellow labs. I love being outside doing things like hiking, boating, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, and rollerblading. I also love practicing yoga, reading, curling (I got into that up in Bemidji) playing games, and watching movies.
