Welcome to Mr. Vasquez's Classroom Website!

Hello! I am a special education teacher at Andover High School. This will be my second year working in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. Last year I worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional in the building, before taking on a new role as an Special Education teacher. I couldn't be more excited to be a part of this great school and give back to the community that supported me through my education.

I grew up in Andover, MN and am a product of A-H School District by attending Crooked Lake Elementary, Oak View Middle School, and Andover High School. After K-12, I went on to receive my B.A. in Marketing from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I am currently finishing up my Master's Degree through Bethel University with an emphasis of working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) students. 

In addition to my role as a Special Education teacher I am the Varsity Defensive Backs coach, an Assistant Coach on the A-H Mustangs Adapted Softball team, and assist with our Strength and Speed Program in the Spring and Summer. I am looking forward to having the ability to educate and mentor the students here at Andover just as the teachers I had did for me!
