• 24-25 Andover High School Parking Lot Rules and Procedures

A valid parking permit for the current school year is required on all vehicles parked in school lots from 7:40 AM – 2:20 PM on District designated school days.  Permits can be purchased for the full year or for an individual trimester.  The cost is $105 for an annual permit or $35 for a single trimester.  Parking fees may be revised by the Anoka-Hennepin School Board over the summer.

There are two lots near the school that are available for students to park in without a permit.  The first is the small lot near the varsity softball field and the second is at Sunshine Park.

Annual and Trimester 1 permits for the 24-25 school year will be sold starting August 5 for Seniors, August 6 for Juniors, and August 7 for Sophomores through ParentVUE/SchoolPay. Dates to purchase permits for Trimester 2 and 3 will be communicated to students and families before going on sale.

    Parking Lot Expectations:

    • All fines must be paid in full prior to the purchase of a parking permit.
    • A permit is required for any student desiring to park in the school lot including STEP, PSEO, part-time, and work program students who may only be at the school for a few hours each day.
    • Parking permits must be properly displayed on the rearview mirror.  If the design of the vehicle will not allow it to be placed on the mirror, it may be taped to the back of the mirror or in a corner of the windshield outside of the tinted area.
    • Chronic parking violations may result in a loss of parking privileges.
    • Permits may be suspended or revoked as a disciplinary consequence for being habitually tardy, truant, or displaying inappropriate behavior.  The loss of parking privileges, determined by administration, cannot be appealed.
    • Vehicles on school property are subject to search by school officials, including the police liaison, if appropriate.
    • Students are allowed to park in the main and west lots only. Students will be ticketed if they are found to be parking in the staff, preschool, and bus loop lots.
    • Students parking illegally (unassigned areas including visitor parking spaces) or without a permit will be fined $25 per violation.
