Hello! My name is McKinzie Meichsner and I am excited to be a part of the Champlin Park High School team. I am a Special Education teacher here at CPHS. I have been teaching since 2013, where I started at West Fargo Public Schools. I am a product of Minnesota State University of Moorhead (GO Dragons!) and Wheaton Area Schools. I have taught in both middle and high schools since starting my career. During my years at West Fargo Public Schools, I taught at Liberty Middle School in the ED/ASD Self-contained classrooms. I taught a year at Tartah High School in Oakdale, MN, where I case managed ASD students and taught Life Skills Math to a variety of students as well as Social Communication. I am excited to begin this year's journey, at CPHS, teaching Special Education.
I am from Wheaton, Minnesota, and the graduate of the class of 2009. My husband is from Morris, Minnesota, and we love going back home to visit family members as well as friends. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends, playing sand and court volleyball, love watching sports, traveling, and new experiences.
