Champlin Park High School International Baccalaureate Programme

Hi there!!

 

I'm thrilled to be coming back to Champlin Park High School for my second year of teaching. I have a degree in Special Education focusing on the areas of E/BD and SLD. I attended college at Minnesota State University- Mankato and graduated in May 2017 from Minnesota State University- Moorhead. For the 2018-2019 school year, I will be teaching Essential Reading III A & B along with supporting a mainstream 9th grade English class. My experience working with special needs students aside from student teaching includes being a PCA for the last 4 years and working at Adventures Plus this past summer at Andover Elementary. This past summer I worked ESY (extended school year) with 8 ASD kiddos at Andover Elementary in the LAUNCH program. I have a passion working with kids and using my knowledge and expertise I've acquired over my years in school and the experiences I have had to help students reach their goals and allow them to recognize their capabilities and achieve academically. 

 

I grew up in Coon Rapids and graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 2012. In my free time I enjoy watching and playing hockey, spending time outdoors, going to the lake, and hanging out with friends and family.
