Champlin Park High School International Baccalaureate Programme

 

 

My name is Meng Yang, and I have been working in the Anoka-Hennepin school district as an English teacher since 2007.  I started my career at Coon Rapids High School and moved to Champlin Park High School in 2010.  I've had the wonderful opportunity to teach most of the English grade levels in the district, Everyday Communications, and Yearbook.  Currently, I am the AVID  program coordinator and teach for the program here at Champlin Park High School.  It has been and continues to be a wonderful and rewarding program.

 

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire in 2002 with an English Literature degree.  After a few years working for the Upward Bound program at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, I discovered that my true passion was with teaching.  I received my teaching degree and Masters of Teaching from Bethel University.
