My name is Michael Periolat, and I'll be your teacher for the trimester. I began teaching English in 2006 in Bronx, New York and made my move back home to Minneapolis to begin teaching at Champlin Park High School in 2009. Since then, I've taught every grade level from 9th through 12th. While in Bronx, New York I received a Masters of Science in English Education from Lehman College - The City University of New York. Prior to this experience, I received a bachelors degree in history and English from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. I currently live in St. Louis Park with my wife and children. In my free time, I love to cook good food, work in the garden, and play guitar in my bluegrass band.
Use our Google Classroom page to find documents and videos shown in class. Also, students can feel free to communicate with classmates via this page, too. Perhaps most importantly, know that most assignments will be posted in Google Classroom so if a student is absent, or forgets to write down an assignment, check Google Classroom.
