Welcome to Ms. Wong's Class
Hello. My name is Verna Wong and I am one of the EL teachers at Champlin Park. I work with students grades 9-12 on their academic language development in reading, writing, listening and speaking. This is my 11th year teaching and my 9th year at Champlin Park High School. I am very proud to be a teacher and Champlin Park is my home! I enjoy teaching because I believe that every day can be engaging, collaborative, and fun. Outside of teaching, I stay very busy keeping up with my three kids. They are my strength in my profession. I am passionate about reading, soccer, gardening, and building community. I am looking forward to another school year working with energetic, creative, independent, fun students.
