Champlin Park High School International Baccalaureate Programme

Hello there!  My name is Mrs. Georgia Larson and I have served as English teacher here at Champlin Park High School since the 1998-99 school year.  That means for the past 20 years, I have enjoyed being a "Rebel."  Although, the early part of my career was spent elsewhere.  I began my teaching career in 1992 at Cuba City High School, Cuba City, WI.  This was followed by a year in graduate studies at the University of WI, Eau Claire.  From there I moved to Albert Lea, MN to serve in a journalism position.  Following that, I completed three years of teaching in Fond du Lac, WI at Goodrich High School.  

BA—St. Olaf College, 1992, English Education

MST—UW Eau Claire, 1999, English Education

MDiv—Luther Seminary, 2009, ordained ministry

My husband, Mr. Brian Larson, is also an English teacher at Champlin Park.  We have two children, Allison (13) and William (11).  I enjoy long distance running, baking, traveling, our cabin, good food, Starbucks lattes and good movies.

Teaching is something for which I have a great passion, so it is my honor and privilege to serve as English teacher here at CP!  Therefore, please let me know what I can do to help you navigate our language arts programming as well as the IB program in general.
