English Language / Multilingual Learner cultural liaison, K-12
Serve as a liaison between EL/ML families and the school district to meet the needs of students, parents and school staff.
- Facilitate, organize and support school ML family engagement events under Title III
- Create and facilitate cultural and equity professional developments, panel discussions, and provide multicultural consultations with staff
- Serve on school and district committees to advocate for multilingual learners
- Develop and cultivate partnerships with community and county organizations to generate and maintain multicultural resources
- Partner with school staff to support ML student needs
- Support ML parent needs (e.g. develop parent education opportunities, provide community, school and county resources, etc.)
