    Summer meals program overview

What is the summer food service program?

There are 13 district schools that will be serving free grab and go meals to children 18 and younger.

    Why is the SFSP important?

It provides needed meals to families that may be experiencing food insecurity but all children are welcome regardless of income level. Children who eat school breakfast and/or lunch are more likely to be better learners, have better attendance and be healthier. Good nutrition is essential for learning.

Is there a cost for the meals?

No, all meals are free to students 18 and younger. Adult breakfast is $2.50 and adult lunch is $4.50 Exact change is required (change is not available).
