    Why I love teaching my IB course:
    Students love to be challenged and IB Chemistry provides a fantastic challenge. I also love the team/family aspect of being part of the IB Diploma program.

    What have you heard from past graduates that have taken your course?
    Students feel very prepared to take on chemistry in a university setting after having taken IB Chemistry.

    The best academic piece of advice to students:
    Don't be afraid to challenge yourself. Life is more rewarding when the path you choose is winding and steep!

    Favorite thing to do besides teaching IB classes:
    Garden, play piano, read, cook, watch/play sports

    Why I love teaching m IB Course: It is very intellectually challenging for the students (and for me).

    What I hear from past graduates who took my course: I haven't gotten that far yet. I'm hoping my students do well on the IB tests this spring. I am doing everything I can to give them a great experience and hope they get a lot out of the class.

    The best academic piece of advice to students: Learning is a growth process that takes time. Keep working to understand. Your brain will get it eventually.

    Why I love my IB course: I get to teach the top students in the school. Love the International Curriculum!

    The best academic piece of advice to students: Learn how to look over your notes every night for 15 minutes to study-not cramming the night before. Also, READ your textbook.

    Favorite thing to do besides teaching IB classes: Teach fitness classes at Lifetime Fitness and travel with my husband.

    The students are invested in their education and ask great questions. Some days I think I learn more from them than they do from me!

    Read!!! Pay attention to detail!

    Favorite thing to do besides teaching IB classes:
    Spending time with family/pets, crocheting, camping, curling up with a good book and coffee :)
