  • Example Problem:

    Coin Tower

Here are 2 towers of coins.  Each tower is 15 mm high. There are 8 nickels and 12 dimes.  What is the value of each tower?

How many of each would be needed to make two towers that are 30 mm high?  What would be the value of each tower?

What if the towers were 45 mm?  What patterns do you notice?
