    In my class I strive to teach each student skills to help improve their reading strategies.  I also love when students finally connect with the world that opens up for them when they read!  
     
     
     
    Bio
    I am a Coon Rapids High School alum, and I have been working at Coon Rapids High School since 2011.  I began my career here as a paraprofessional;  within weeks I knew I wanted to become a teacher.  I enrolled in the graduate program at Walden University in May of 2013.  This is my fourth year teaching.  I absolutely love working with students, learning their stories, openning a whole new world to them through reading, and hoping each one of them feels a sense of belonging once they step into my classroom.  
     
    Teaching Schedule
    I teach Essential Reading II and Essential Reading III.  I also co-teach English 10.
