Welcome to Coon Rapids High School!!
My name is Kelly Beulke, and I have been teaching at Coon Rapids High School for 20 years! I taught Biology for the first 15 years and started teaching in our Project Lead the Way BioMedical Sciences program five years ago. I am officially trained in all 4 PLTW Biomed classes: PBS, HBS, MI, and BI. For the 2018-19 school year, I am teaching MI to juniors, but also am a coordinator for our Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering (CBSE) program as a Curriculum Integrator.
I received my B.A. in Biology Education at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, in 1999, and my M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University in Winona in 2003. I got married to my husband Matt this summer, and also have 2 kids, a 9th grade son at Blaine High School and a 6th grade daughter at Roosevelt Middle School. When I'm not hanging out at CRHS, I enjoy spending time with my kids, driving them around to all their activities, spending time outside, working out, baking, and reading. I absolutely love science and am so excited especially about our BioMedical program! Feel free to contact me via email at anytime with questions about our science program, our CBSE program, or your child's progress in school. Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
