Focused, ongoing professional development is a key component of continuous improvement in teaching and learning. In Anoka-Hennepin, all teachers are offered three types of professional development:
Professional learning communities (PLCs) support continuous improvement by providing opportunities for teachers to achieve district, school and grade level goals through the review of student learning and teacher practice. Our elementary PLCs are structured around grade level teams, academic discipline and like positions such as special education.
All Things PLC, All in One Place is a collaborative, objective resource for our teachers who are committed to enhancing student achievement.
