Grad Spotlight: Retired Coon Rapids Police Chief and current Anoka County Sheriff Brad Wise, a 1982 Coon Rapids High School graduate, continues to impact the community

For Anoka County sheriff Brad Wise, a 1982 graduate of Coon Rapids High School (CRHS), it’s more like two or even one degree of separation if you have ever lived in the City of Coon Rapids.

(10/07/2024) The 2024 class of the Coon Rapids High School Athletics Hall of Fame celebrated the accomplishments of coach Jim Roback, Rachel Guentzel (Bona), and Alli Anderson (Heida) with an on-field ceremony prior to the Cardinals Homecoming football game on Oct. 4.

(01/20/2025) Due to extreme cold weather conditions, all Anoka-Hennepin schools will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. This decision has been made for the safety of students and staff as an Extreme Cold Warning has been issued for Anoka County until 12 Noon on Tuesday.
