Jackson Middle School A Specialty School for Math and Science

Hello!  My name is Jane Becker and I am excited to be teaching 7th grade FACS this year.  I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.  After graduation I taugt at the elementary level for a couple years until I decided to open a home daycare.  After 21 years, I decided it was time to come back to teaching. Last year I taught 7th and 8th grade FACS at Roosevelt Middle School in Blaine.  I am very excited for this year and cannot wait to work with your child and watch them grow in the sewing and child development areas.

I live in Andover with my husband Chad and son Lucas who is a senior at Blaine this year.  I also have 2 daughters, McKenzie (22) and Haydn (21).  McKenzie graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management degree with a minor in Occupational Safety. She moved to Denver to begin her career and is busy planning her wedding for next July.  Haydn graduated in May from Concordia University in St Paul with  degree in Elementary Education. She will be coaching women's basketball at Concordia this year while working on her masters and also planning her wedding. My free time is spent following Lucas in his sports and attending Haydn's games.  When not watching games, I love to shop, travel and most of all spend time with my family and friends.
