Welcome to our Classroom Website
Hello everyone, and welcome to my webpage! Here is a little bit about me. This is my 20th year teaching and my 12th in Anoka-Hennepin. I taught for 8 years in Las Vegas as a 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade teacher. In 2008 I started teaching in Anoka-Hennepin where I was a 3rd grade teacher at Eisenhower Elementary. Following that year I became an Instructional Coach working at Washington and Monroe Elementary and then at Morris Bye and Monroe Elementary. After those 2 years I went back to the classroom, where I taught 4th grade Mathematics at Morris Bye. Then, for the next 4 years I taught 3rd and 4th grade at Morris Bye.
I am excited to start my 4th Jackson Middle School. I am very excited to be teaching Global Studies and working with the 8th grade.
I have two children. Daniel, who will begin 9th grade at Anoka High School in Anoka, and Tessa, who turned 6 over the summer and attends Kindergarten at Ramsey Elementary.
I love sports and competition! I play golf, and coach baseball, but still enjoy playing many sports and I am a big Minnesota fan!
