Welcome to my classroom website

Hi! My name is Michelle Keenan and I teach 7th grade ELA.  This is my first year at Jackson Middle School, but the start of my 15th year teaching. Previously, I taught at Rogers High School, Champlin Park High School, and St. Francis High School. I am excited to start my new adventure at Jackson Middle School!

I graduated from Bufflao High School and then went to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I got my teaching degree and competed on the gymnastics team. Early in my teaching career, I got my Masters in Teaching and Learning, and just recently completed my administrative license through Minnesota State-Moorhead.

My husband, Nick and I just moved to Dayton with our family this summer. We have three children: Nicholas (10), Brooklyn (7), and Carter (4).  We love to spend time outdoors and playing sports.
