Hello, my name is Jodi Eernisse. I have been teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin School district for 21 years. I received my teaching degree from St. Cloud State University and taught 2nd grade at Evergreen Park Elementary School for 10 years. During this time I received my master's degree from St. Mary's University. I was granted a sabbatical and received my Special Education license from Bethel University in 2006. I then taught Special Education at Northdale Middle School for 7 years. I live in Champlin and grew up in Brooklyn Park. When a job teaching special education math opened up at Jackson Middle School in 2013, I chose to pursue this opportunity. I wanted to teach at the school in the community I live in. I taught special education math for 3 years at Jackson. This is my 4th year at Jackson and I have accepted a new position as Special Education Lead. This role has brought many new challenges and I am enjoying each day in my new position. Jackson is a Specialty School for Math and Science and the experiences our students receive here are phenomenal. The teachers here are dedicated and work hard to educate all of our students for success. When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family. I also like to travel.
Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
