Jackson Middle School A Specialty School for Math and Science

Hi! My name is Mrs. Dawn Roesler. I have been teaching since 2002 and love it! Let me tell you a little bit of information about myself.

 

In December of 2012, I married my magnificent husband, Ryan. Former students of mine may remember me as Ms. Emery. We have an adorable son named Everett and a cute little dog named Gizmo (Gizzy). We currently live in Champlin.  I grew up in Coon Rapids and graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1996 (Go Cardinals!). My education continued at Winona State University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics in the year 2000. Why stop there? I decided to further my education after I started teaching, and I received my Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's University in 2005. I've taken several Continuing Education courses since then. Learning is never done!

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy photography, singing, traveling, relaxing by the lake and spending time with family and friends. Very few people know this, but I also enjoy sewing (I get that from my mom). We'll keep that a secret between you and me. Any time that I can be with people, I'm happy! It's the extrovert in me.  I'm practical and like to look at the positive side of situations.
