    Welcome to 6th grade!
     
    My name is Camille Mattson and I am so excited to be your child's math teacher.  I have been at Jackson Middle School for the past 18 years.  I have taught a number of subjects, but my personal favorite is math and I love working with 6th graders!   I have a Masters in Education from St. Mary's University and graduated from Bemidji State University with an Elementary Education degree (Go Beavers!).  I have two children, Max (12) who is in 6th grade this year and Cecelia, who is 7 and in second grade.  They are so much fun to hang out with and we find great things to do every day!   If some of you have high school students, you may know my husband, Mr. Matt Mattson (CPHS Assistant Principal for Activities).  We love traveling and are excited for all the adventures our family can create.   In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, reading, and I do have a passion for food!  I love cooking and trying new restaurants.  We also love watching our children ski, Champlin Park sporting events, Vikings, Gophers, T-Wolves, Twins & Wild.
